Provisional started as a simple idea: Zimbabwe learner drivers deserve a free, well-organised way to study for the VID theory test, without hunting for scanned PDFs or outdated forum posts.
This website is the free study companion to the Provisional app. On the web you can read the complete Zimbabwe Highway Code, browse all 330 road signs and 36 road rules, and try free sample questions from our practice test topics and 2026 test papers. The app takes it further, with the full 268-question bank, all 16 2026 papers, bookmarks, and offline access.
Provisional is a product of Invalcre (Pvt) Ltd, a Zimbabwe-focused software studio.
This website is an independent study tool based on the Zimbabwe Highway Code. We are not affiliated with the VID or the Traffic Safety Council of Zimbabwe, and we do not offer road tests, licensing services, or any form of assistance to obtain a driver's licence.
