Provisional started as a simple idea: Zimbabwe learner drivers deserve a free, well-organised way to study for the VID theory test, without hunting for scanned PDFs or outdated forum posts.
This website is the free study companion to the Provisional app. On the web you can read the complete Zimbabwe Highway Code, browse all 322 road signs and 36 road rules, and try free sample questions from our practice test topics and mock tests. The app takes it further — the full 268-question bank, 16 mock tests, a timed full mock exam, bookmarks, and offline access.

This website is an independent study tool based on the Zimbabwe Highway Code. We are not affiliated with the VID or the Traffic Safety Council of Zimbabwe, and we do not offer road tests, licensing services, or any form of assistance to obtain a driver's licence.
