How the real test works

• You answer 25 multiple-choice questions at a VID depot.
• You need 22 right to pass, which is 88 per cent, so you can afford three wrong.
• You get 8 minutes, which is under 20 seconds a question.
• Questions come with a road sign, a diagram of an intersection, or a rule of the road.
• Carry your national ID: it is what proves you are old enough to sit.
• The fee is US$20, subject to change, so confirm it with your depot.
