This policy covers both the Provisional website (https://provisional.invalcre.co.zw) and the Provisional mobile app, published by Invalcre (Pvt) Ltd ("Invalcre", "we", "us").
The Provisional website does not require an account and does not collect email addresses. We use privacy-respecting analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand aggregate page traffic. This does not identify individual visitors.
We advertise the app on X (formerly Twitter), and the site carries the X advertising tag so we can tell which adverts led someone to download it. The tag sets a cookie and reports a visit, and a press on an App Store or Google Play button, back to X. It is not used to build a profile of you here, and we do not pass your name, email address or test results to anyone. You can limit how X uses it in your X privacy settings, under personalisation and data, or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser.
The Provisional app is designed to work fully offline. Your quiz progress, bookmarks, and scores are stored locally on your device. We do not require you to create an account to use the app, and we do not sell personal data to third parties.
Like most apps, we may use anonymous, aggregated analytics and crash reporting to understand how the app is used and to fix bugs. This data is not linked to your identity.
The website and app link to third-party services such as the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Those services have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
Provisional is intended for learner drivers preparing for the Zimbabwe VID provisional test and is not directed at young children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
