22. Display of temporary identification cards
(1) An application for the issue of temporary identification cards shall be made in form CVR 7.
(2) Temporary identification cards issued in terms of section 19 of the Act shall be displayed on the vehicle to which it refers so as to be clearly visible to the front and to the rear.
(3) A vehicle in respect of which temporary identification cards have been issued shall adhere to the route specified by the person applying for them and shown on the cards.
(4) On expiry of the period for which the temporary identification cards were issued, the holder thereof shall surrender it to the registering officer who issued it.
