Where you will see it

On the run up to an ordinary curve, often the first of a series on a winding road.

What to do

Read which way the sign points, so you know where the road goes before you can see it, and reduce speed on the approach rather than in the curve itself. Knowing the road well is not a reason to carry the speed: it is still a corner you cannot see round.
