Where a cattle grid is laid across the road, usually at a boundary fence on a farm, an estate or a game area.
What to do
Do your braking before you reach the bars rather than on them, and cross straight on rather than at an angle. A grid gives a wheel very little to hold, and it is worse for a motorcycle than for you.
