Facing a cycle track or cycle lane at the point it meets a road carrying motor traffic.

What to do

Slow to a speed you can stop from and let the traffic on the road go through, then join in a gap and ride on the left of the lane. Do not run down the space between stopped vehicles to get a better position at the front.
