Ahead of a gate, a boom or a railway barrier that can be closed across the road.
What to do
Slow down and expect to find it shut. At a railway barrier, stop at least 3 metres from the track or immediately behind the stop line where there is one, and never move onto the crossing until the road beyond it is clear.
